Fragrance Policy

Jourdan’s Bridge Club at Temple Beth Ami requests patrons to take particular care using scented products. Most scented products currently marketed are made largely of synthetic chemicals, usually derived from petroleum or coal tar. Modern scented products contain numerous toxic chemicals which constantly vaporize into the air, some of which chemicals are skin irritants, suffocants, eye and respiratory tract irritants, and neurotoxins. In the world at large as well as the world of bridge we may come into close proximity to individuals sensitive to one or more of these chemicals and who need to avoid exposure to scented products. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
